A disabled standup comedian aka the Lost Voice Guy, Lee – who is unable to speak due to complications from cerebral palsy and delivers his material through a voice synthesiser – secured his place in the final after delivering brilliantly self-deprecating humour in the first live show and throughout.
Lost Voice Guy later went on with his rib cracking jokes to win Britain’s Got Talent in a hotly contested finale on Sunday evening. The 37-year-old, aka comedian Lee Ridley beat out 10 other acts to claim the top spot at the Hammersmith Apollo on 3 June, with the viewers captivated by him and his hilarious performance. All four judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were all floored by their finale performance.
