Nigeria Eases Into The AFCON2021 Round-of-16 Thanks To A 3-1 Win Against Sudan

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have secured a spot in the round of 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021).

The Nigerian team had an early start, securing a goal in the 3rd minute (Samuel Chukwuezs) and then at half time (Taiwo Awoniyi) and in the 46th minute (Moses Simon). The Falcons of Jendiane got a lick in at the 70th minute during a penalty kick.

The 3-1 win grants the Super Eagles an automatic qualification into the round of 16.
