The Super Eagles of Nigeria have bowed out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following a 0-1 loss to Tunisia’s Eagles of Carthage.
Nigeria’s loss to their North African counterparts was their first loss of the tournament. In what has been described as “shocking”, Tunisia’s Youssef Msakni put his country in the lead at the 83rd minute with less than 10 minutes of play left in the clock.
