One killed, many injured as drunk community leader rams car into shop
Tragedy struck, today, around Imude Road, Subiri, Ojo, Lagos, as an allegedly drunk community leader rammed his vehicle into a shop.
According to eyewitnesses, the Baale of Ojomu was driving at a top speed before losing control of the car. The resulting crash led to the instant death of an old woman who was at the shop to buy some items.
About three other people were also left seriously injured. Residents of the area have taken the matter to the Ajangbadi police station, while the body of the deceased has since been retrieved by her children.
