Shatta Wale Arrested For Faking A Gunshot Attack

Ghanian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has been arrested for his involvement in faking a gun attack on himself.

Following investigations and attempts of the Ghana police to reach Shatta Wale, it was discovered that the attack was staged. The police declared Shatta Wale wanted and he turned himself in after publishing the following statement.

Why Shatta Wale Faked A Gun Attack

Shatta revealed that he faked the gunshot attack in a bid to prove a false prophet wrong. Shatta wrote that he expected the cybercrime department of the Ghana police to take action after this prophecy was made. “If my life was threatened and there is no law to take actions on that then I guess I will do what is right in the eyes of God,” he wrote.

Shatta also admitted to taking his assistant’s phone and sharing the messaged confirming the attack.
