Skye Bank manager and brother who drowned together, buried
The Manager of Skye Bank Plc, Abak Road Branch, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Ubong Ekpe, and his younger brother, Francis, have been buried in Uyo.
Their burial took place yesterday. Ubong, who was married with 4 children, drowned along with Francis at the Ibeno Beach, where they had gone to the beach for a picnic in April with Ubong’s four children and wife.
Ubong was said to have entered into the beach to swim. There was anxiety when he did not surface from the waters. Francis, who attempted to save him by also diving into the water, drowned as well.
